Do you ever get so busy in your business that you just immediately become overwhelmed?
Same, my friend.
Let me tell you my top 2 ways to combat that overwhelm!
1. Put your blinders on
Take some time to get off of social media and get outside and go for a walk.
It is literally the most healing thing that you can do for yourself and for your business.
Your photography journey is going to have a lot of highs and a lot of lows and 9/10 times when I’m in a low, it’s because I’m overwhelmed…I’m scrolling…I’m looking at what everybody else is doing.
I’m constantly comparing myself and instead of using social media as a way to connect, form community, and get inspired, the devil uses social media to attack your goals, dreams, and insecurities.
Put your blinders on, get off of social media, and go head first into your goals.
2. Stop saying HOW do I do this?
How do I get $10,000 in my bank account by Christmas?
How do I book 55 mini sessions?
How do I become a luxury wedding photographer?
Stop saying HOW!
Start asking yourself who can help me get 10,000 Instagram followers?
Who can help me become a luxury wedding photographer?
Who can help me create these beautiful images that I see in my head but it’s not translating to my camera?
Who can help me do this?
When you start saying “who can help me” and stop asking yourself “how do I do this”, it’s going to change everything for you.
We’re in the knowledge revolution. There’s so much knowledge available to you everywhere you turn. Figure out who you want to learn from.
Who’s doing newborn photography the way you want to do newborn photography?
Who’s creating the images you want to create?
Who’s shooting weddings the way you want to shoot weddings?
Who is posing the way that you want to pose?
Figure that out and then go find the ‘who’ that can help you do that.
