A Live Oak Wedding: Brittany and Matthew

As Thomas and I were getting everything together for Brittany and Matthew’s wedding, he said, “Hey babe, do you remember one our first dates together?”

Me.. rapidly going through our short courtship period trying to #1- figure out where he was going with this question and #2- actually trying to remember 8 years ago some of our very first dates..

So I said, “Oh man, there were so many good ones, which one are you thinking about!?” (hoping he had no clue I was clueless)

He then said, “One of our first dates was going watch the Lady Eagles play basketball at your old high school. And Brittany was on the court! And now we are shooting her wedding! How did we get so old so fast?”

And to be honest- I didn’t know whether I should immediately feel old, or immediately feel proud that he remembered B.C. from 2011! So, I was both. Old lady and proud wife.

So that’s when Thomas first got to know the amazing Brittany Chedraui (aka B.C)… But my memory goes way back.. I remember this beautiful bride as a 9 year old in children’s church when I use to help my mom wayyyy back when! And then I remember her growing up into a teenager that was so confident in being herself… not ever feeling pressured to be anything but B.C.

Brittany is definitely one of those people that you instantly fall in love with, and become besties with immediately after meeting her. Young, old, man, or woman. I can’t even think of a single person who doesn’t just ADORE B.C.!

Brittany and Matthew are so, crazy perfect for each other. There love story began with a simple text, and the rest is history. I literally can’t think of two people who deserve each other more than these two beautiful souls!

Congratulations Brittany and Matthew! I LOVED being a part of your engagement, and wedding day and CAN’T WAIT to see what God has in store for your future together!!!
