Glasses glare – and how to avoid it!

December 30, 2020

As a photographer, avoiding glasses glare can be so tricky!

Here’s what I do to combat that…

Number one: ask clients ahead of time while you’re communicating about your session (or when you send your style guide) if anyone participating in the session wears glasses!

If they say yes, someone does wear glasses, ask them if they wear them 100% of the time or if they can do the session without them!

If they DO wear them 100% of the time, one simple trick is to ask them to tilt their chin down just a tiny bit.

Glasses glare comes from the lens reflecting the sky so by tilting the chin down, you avoid that completely.

It’s seriously that easy;)
